From face-to-face to digital workshop design – Over the last months Ignore Gravity has been developing creative solutions for digital collaboration, to ensure the success of your digital workshops.
We have to be honest here, we - the team of ignore gravity, are a collective of techies and have a secret passion for creative, exciting and powerful digital events. We offer you creative solutions with bite-sized modules for digital collaboration, exchange and results. Do not cancel your events! Digitalization now!
Whether it's the global digital summit "Making the Future" curated by our Project Lead Susanne, the concept for the world's largest digital conference for a major car manufacturer, digital leadership coaching formats or, like yesterday, our digital kick-off event for GIZ SI knowledge management, with our project strategist Matthias and Franziska our new work expert - this is where our heart starts beating.
If you do it right, digital workshops (design sprints, round tables, conferences or high intensity camps) are scalable.
We studied countless inputs on how to facilitate a digital workshop. This is our way forward:
• It’s not possible to simply transfer an 8 hours workshop into the digital space and keep the necessary focus and excitement.
• This is why we design bite sized sessions of blended learning, input, interaction and co-creation.
• We know that giving a detailed briefing to the participants in advance, sharing the agenda, the objectives, the methodology and giving them guidance to get familiar with the tools that we will use, is crucial to the success and use of joy.
Participants in a digital workshop need even stronger facilitation than in a ‚face-to-face‘ workshop:
• For each session we provide a multitude of canvas, templates, a clear and structured agenda, digital co-creation tools and clear time boxing.
• We provide a very structured program, each stage, the next steps and the progress will be transparent and visible for all of the participants.
• Like a face-to-face workshop, a digital workshop needs clear rules that will be communicated at the beginning and our host will ensure that they are respected.
• In order to ensure focused work and high-quality outcome we will provide moderators who are well versed in the digital facilitation.
