EWE AG´s critical objectives in organizational transformation were to foster intrapreneurship through cost reduction and new business models by intrapreneurship.
HOW
EWE AG offered its employees a one-month intrapreneurship boot camp, including lean management, idea sprints, and startup- and intrapreneurship tools to improve its business and got to market strategies.
WHAT
ignore gravity design and execute the one-month intrapreneurship boot camp. Management Board and thirty employees of EWE AG invented and developed over 200 lean approaches and business models for future sales, service, and energy sectors. Together with the EWE leadership team, mentors, coaches, internal sprint & agile coaches, and experts, we guided them through the stages of Intrapreneurship Bootcamp – from inspiration through ideation to innovation. The participants pitched their business ideas to their management board members and leadership teams on the final day.
Organizations have adopted lean management approaches. New business areas and ideas could lead to establishing a GmbH via an investment vehicle, in which EWE invested, and the employee could have driven the business forward as an idea generator for a year as managing director.
