Announcing Speakers for The Future of Food 2017

The half-day conference The Future of Food aims to identify innovations and trends in the food industry and in retail, thereby triggering digitization processes. This year's main focus is on the production and distribution of food in the digital age.
Dieter Meier, founder of the musician duo Yello and food expert Prof. Dr. med. Tilo Hühn explain how they want to break the chocolate world with Oro de Cacao and put it on entirely new production methods. Because both are sure that sustainability and the need for quality and health will significantly change the production of food. At the same time, Daniel P. Glasner brings startup and investor know-how to The Future of Food Conference. He was part of the founding team of the Berlin restaurant reservation portal Quandoo, which was sold in 2015 for 200 million euros to a Japanese investment company. Today, Glasner stands on the other side and invests in Europe with Cherry Ventures in the best ideas and teams. So what a 200 million exit feels like and in which trends money is flowing, is therefore reported first-hand.
For The Future of Food, our partner SAP provides the right place for innovation, inspiration and networking with DATA SPACE. Conference content will be presented next to the stage and for the first time in a workshop room this year.

The food track is once again a solid culinary component of the conference setup this year. Selected food startups present and inform about their products and their production. In addition, tech startups will be exhibiting in our Hardware Area and giving conference participants a haptic experience. By placing their products and prototypes, innovations such as 3D food printing, robo-farming and urban farming can be experienced.
